I am new to puppetry and so I'm always buying books to try to self-educate. One discussion on the puppet hub suggested reading a "A Pair of Cockeyed Optimists" about the careers of Bob and Judy Brown, so I ordered it from Amazon. Not only is it a first hand look into the lives of two wonderful puppeteers, but it is written in a way that makes it seem like you are right there, hearing the stories first hand. I was reading it last night, (two rooms away from where my husband was sleeping,) and I laughed so hard that I woke him out of a sound sleep. I am thankful for this forum, where we can network and discover wonderful resources like this book.
