Puppet Hub

A global network for professionals, amateurs, and people who just like puppets.

I remember Kathy with great fondness.
She served 4 terms as president for Puppeteers of America 1982-86.

Her solo marionette show "Snow White" (cant' foget 7 dwarves) won a UNIMA citation in 1977

Best snow white ever. I last saw ir a a CPG banquet about 18 years ago

It's sad to have so many dear old friends leaving. Jim Menke and Kathy Piper were two of my earliest friends in this most strange of professions.

I remember Kathy with a great deal of pleasure. I met her first through the mail, then face to face in Chicago. I'm grateful to have been able to spend time with her here in NY when she worked for Suzari marionettes for a season. She was a funny lady with a dry wit. A very gifted performer

She was so distressed to learn of Jim's passing just a few months ago.

Indeed, she will be missed. . . .
