I am making a stitch puppet and have posted some pics of him....he is a going to be about 4 1/2 feet tall and I am looking for some feedback I can see the flaws and i want to hear other builders opinions....thanx nat
So far looks pretty good. I am not a builder, but as a performer the one thing that comes to mind is the size. Over 4 feet tall is pretty big, just make sure he is a manageable size, otherwise you will be fighting the puppet. Looking forward to seeing in progress pics.
My first impetus is to say that you might have done faux fur instead of fleece for the main colored areas in blue. Faux fur gives you a huge latitude for hiding stitching and such. It might also make him seem a little less "bare"?
I think your patterning is quite good. But why so big?
