Integrating Puppetry into Theatrical Productions: Taking Your Art Into Other Mediums

Integrating Puppetry into Theatrical Productions is a workshop designed to teach you, the puppeteer, how to effectively collaborate with performing arts organizations not specializing in the puppetry arts. This workshop will take you through the entire process of a theatrical production from signing the contract to striking the show and will teach you how to communicate the needs of the art form to everyone involved including the director, stage management, the crew and the cast.  We will discuss the basic infrastructure of a theatre company and where you fit into it as a guest artist, as well as the steps you need to take to insure your puppets shine within the production to their fullest potential.

Presented by whom, Scott?
