Thank you CabbagePatch Pete. Just the sort of thing I wanted to hear. I'll get on and finish it.

I think it's a beauty. Something about the way it's eyes stand out against the sky blue of it's face is quite magical.

Hello everyone,
I'm having difficulty finishing this Blue Cat. I'm just recovering from a bout of illness, and finding it difficult to motivate myself. It will be a marionette like the one on my page.
Any comments would be appreciated, especially nice ones.
Thanks a lot.

Hiyaz. My blog on this site is currently dedicated to a show I'm working on that features this prisoner:

This door:

And this window:

They all have speaking parts and will be coated in UV paint.
If any of you DIY geniuses fancy lending your wisdom, that'll be swell.
I'm currently trying to figure a way to construct the stage...

Thanks, Puppetlady. They are carved from blocks of basswood.

KerryP: The heads look great! What are they made out of?

Flacracker: My monsters are about 32 inches from the feet to top of the headstalk. They are based on the Mostro pattern from www.projectpuppet.com. Keep us posted on the marionettes!

I am working on some marionettes and just finished the heads.

Hopefully, by the time I finish the bodies, I will also have a written something in which they can star.

The monster puppets are really cute. How big are they?

Right now I am trying to build two puppets that are the same one is a rod puppet & one is a marionette. Trying for both moving eyes & moving mouth on both. I did paper mache Bill Lorenzen mixture onto styrofoam heads then when I cut them open I hollowed out the inside with a hot wire. So far so good.
