Dolores had a sweet gig at the Worlds Of Fun amusement park in Kansas City MO. She would perform all summer long ssisted by one or two of her family members, then spend the off season bulding for the next year. I had the pleasure of doing dome work with her daughter Dana. who with her partner Rod Cathcart operated mad hatter Marionettes using puppets fron the family stock. Dolores was unique when it came to her design sense. It is interesting that the puppets seemed to age along with her.

Delores's work has so much personality! I want to know her paper mache formula.

Beautiful! I curated a puppet exhibit at a regional P of A festival years ago and was privileged enough to be able to include some of her puppets. They really are exquisite and unique, just like Dolores herself. I recall she did a show on our closing night too. She was really a terrific performer. Don't remember Toby, tho'. Really an exquisite design.
