Gathering of Puppeteers

I flew out this past weekend (from CA to NY) to attend the 5th annual Gathering of Puppeteers party on Long Island. Fab time, and I met some great East coasters. Wish I could have stated longer. Kudos to Artie Poore for providing for and hosting such a great event out of his own pocket.
The live music later that evening was awesome also.
I think there will be more NY trips in my near future. :)

Hey there puppet land!
So, we're shooting a low budget puppet film this weekend involving my cat puppets (posted somewhere on my gallery) and we need reverse monitors - does anyone know where to get them? How to make them? Any resources at all?
The shoot will be taking place in San Francisco.

Ok, so my gallery on here is a bit sparse of hand puppets, made up for by an overabundance of costumes/body puppets.
But the punters asked, and I (finally) deliver.
Please check out the gallery, or my personal photos page to see the three cat puppets that I have made for a short film that will be shooting locally in the next month or two. I'll be back on board to oversee the puppetry and to manipulate one of them when filming starts - but in the meantime I talked…

I'm on the LAST DAY of a competition to help my company, Primal Visions win a business grant from Intuit - I'd love to have people vote to add to my chances! I think I am the only artist type entered in the competition, and I'll wager the only one who makes puppets.
You do need to sign up to vote, and I know that I'll lose most of you already because it makes it a pain in the butt to do. Got an old spammy email account? ;)… Continue
