More About Me:
Enchanted by the Muppets at an early age, I eventually honed my acting chops in local theater. In 2006, surfing the internet for Muppet and puppet information rekindled my passion for puppetry. I'm looking forward to using everything I've learned to further my puppetry pursuits.

New Puppet Weekend in Beacon NY holding Auditions

Posted on June 28, 2011 at 7:46pm 0 Comments

Hi All

I just added an event for July for auditions for a puppet slam in a new theatre space in Beacon, NY. Beacon is a small, quaint artist town about 60 miles North of Manhattan and is convenient to CT as well as NJ, just a few miles from the NY State Thruway and right off interstate 84.

New puppet show on bullying needs help

Posted on June 3, 2011 at 11:28am 0 Comments

I'm trying to reach as many people as quickly as possible to get the word out as I'm very passionate about this project. "Helping Drew" is an original puppet musical that deals with the subject of bullying. I'm producing this show and it will be available for K-5 elementary school assemblies by this September.

One last piece of the puzzle is to get it professionally recorded. While school budgets continue to be drastically cut, this will enable us to maintain a discounted cost to…

New Puppets

Posted on January 11, 2009 at 7:52pm 0 Comments

I had some issue with my last puppet Gustavo because I didn't like my stitching on his mouth. I went back and covered over the stitching with a new mouth plate - added the tongue and I was good. I worked on my next puppet Geraldine over the last 2 weekends and completed her today. Her shirt may change. I wanted something that matched the girly look of the tutu but, settled for this little sweatshirt because it was only a dollar at Target.…

Hey thanks for the comments the eyes are actually made from a racket ball cut in half. I think the "odd shape comes from the way I made the eyelids. I actually thought i had messed them up but I turned the eyes a bit and realized that they looked okay the way they were. I am using project puppet patterns....the mouse body is made from the mostro pattern and the arms are the simple series arms with the forma series hands. I also shrunk them on my copy machine. The head was made from a scooter pattern i found online. I had to enlarge the original pattern I found and then create a mouthplate that would work. Im still experimenting ....trying to really figure out how to make my own patterns.
