- What First Got Me Interested in Puppetry
- I really had no choice. My father is an internationally famous puppeteer who was constantly building and performing. I used to bug him in the shop until he gave me a piece of sandpaper and taught me how to use it. I've been hooked ever since!
- My Puppetry (or Puppet) Hero
- Bil Baird is my hero because he was the man who really brought puppets into the mainstream back in the fifties. He did everything: Broadway shows, Television, National and International Touring, Industrials, Commercials, etc. Oh yeah, and my Dad Who taught me everything I know about marionettes.
- If I Were a Puppet, I'd Be...
- I would never be a puppet because then I'd be a tool in someone else's hands. Puppets are inanimate objects brought to life by talented hands. I prefer to be the hands!

First time I've seen 'motorcycles' mentioned, thats a great combination! I have a full motorcycle licence myself but no bike :( Maybe your next marionette should be a biker?

Actually we try to get over to New England at least once as year as we have friends in Connecticut (who have a summer home in New Hampshire), we actually got engaged near Meridith so thanks for the offer, you might end up with a fellow puppetmaker on your doorstep at some point in the future! We'd love to move over permanently but will have to wait until the little one is a bit older :)
