What First Got Me Interested in Puppetry
MIdWest Furfest and Craig Fuguson's Late Late show puppets. Longer time ago local television WGN-9 Chicago's Garfield Goose and Friends, Cuddly Dudley and the Muppets.
My Puppetry (or Puppet) Hero
the Muppets, and local Chicago television WGN Garfield Goose and Cuddly Dudley (they can still be seen every Thanksgiving and Christmas on WGN Chicago. Both airings will also be streamed live on WGNtv.com (show name - Boz, Gar and Ray) I used to watch all three of the shows.
If I Were a Puppet, I'd Be...
A character not found or created yet - dog Irish Setter or Golden Retriever - currently by name of "Major"
More About Me:
Wide variety of interests - IT person who does field service and thus looks for ways to meet others with similar interests. Yet, I don't stick with one but have many - computers, social organizations, DCI drum corps fan, collecting DVD's of shows and movies, animation - Disney, Dreamworks and others. furfest-people interested in animals - though I tend to like dogs best.

Unique performance types tried this year

What I am up to - Labor Day Parade - my unofficial mascot (Freddie Fling - puppet avatar Oct 2014) joined me in the parade as "bucket shakers" - seeking donations for charity, sadly got rained on which kept the crowds small. Fun barking at people - can do that without mouth movement of my Real Self - and get an interesting reaction from many. Who says puppets need to only talk or sing. Idea from years back at a show for kids where vendors were selling "invisible dogs". Thought, would be so…

MidWest FurFest 2012 thoughts

My time to seriously start planning MidWest Furfest - performance concepts. The variety show and puppet show. Concepts 1. last year done at the small puppet show Dog and Wolf singing a Monty Python song. 2.
