Relationship to Puppetry
Senior partner at EverWitt Productions, LLC. A multimedia company that creates animation, film, stop motion, puppetry, and live action for mobile media platforms. Worked briefly with the Jim Henson Co. on a couple of illustration design projects for books, under Joe LeFavi. Have been in love with puppetry for most of my life. I am a kid from the 70's and grew up with the entertainment form on TV and in public.
What First Got Me Interested in Puppetry
It's hard not to say Jim Henson. So, I guess Jim Henson. When I was a kid, I got to see an up close, live performance by Mummenschanz and was completely taken up by it. I also got to be a kid in a local tour of Sesame Street Live on stage - grabbed up out of the audience. I think that incident generally changed my whole life.

More About Me:
I am a musician, painter, illustrator, writer... a creative, I suppose. I finished a Ph.D in history, but I think that in my case, it's biggest value was that it gave me more stories to access for creative purposes. I am a big fan of mythology, ancient storytelling, history, literature, play writing, etc. I have been in all sorts of live performance mediums on both the tech and performing sides, as well as writing and art and design. I thought that it would somehow get to this point... puppets. Ain't it great when a bunch of plans all come together into one big plan that you didn't see originally? It makes sense.
