Relationship to Puppetry
Puppetry & Ventriloquism enthusiast & ametur performer on YouTube.
What First Got Me Interested in Puppetry
I've been very much into puppetry since I was little. What first got me into puppetry was Sesame Street and The Muppets. Most of Jim Henson's work in general. What first got me into ventriloquism and where i first learned about it was Shari Lewis and her show, Lambchop's Play-Along. Everything I just mentioned made me fascinated with puppets, puppetry & ventriloquism, and was/is a big part of what made me who I am! :)
My Puppetry (or Puppet) Hero
Well, I actually have two in both categories.

Puppetry Heroes:

Kevin Clash & Jim Henson

Puppet Heroes:

Elmo & Kermit The Frog

(Tough to pick just one.)
If I Were a Puppet, I'd Be...
Elmo:

He's very happy and has an optimistic outlook on life. He's very loving, kind and friendly. He's creative and cute. Oh, and he never ages! :)

[ Is it weird for a twenty-seven year old guy to like Elmo? O.o ]
More About Me:
Name: James

I've been very into puppetry since I was little and have collected various puppets since. I used to do puppetry for my old church until the Puppetry/Youth Leader left to attend a different church, taking the puppetry with him. I was still fairly young then, so I knew nothing about things like scripting or putting together shows to keep the puppetry going with my own puppets. When I wasn't puppeteering at church, I was doing puppetry and puppetry videos to entertain myself and some (mostly younger) family members. I created my main non-puppetry YouTube channel in 2007 and for the last couple years I've wanted to start a puppetry channel as well, so that I could get into puppetry with an audience again. So this past July, I created Jimbim121 Puppets! For now there are only two videos there, because unfortunately my laptop stopped working shortly after creation of the channel, so I have no way to edit video. I do however have an iPhone 3GS, which is how I uploaded the current videos and how I'm able to access this website. For now I can only make basic videos with the iPhone like the current ones, which I may or may not do. Most likely the current videos will be deleted to make room for better, higher quality ones once I'm able to get my computer fixed or get a new one which I intend to do.

[ It can be kind of difficult to puppeteer while holding an iPhone. ]
