Brother Coyote and Sister Fox

Thistle Theatre

Website

Thistle Theatre presents a delightful and humorous adaptation of the Mexican folktale. Brother Coyote wants one thing and one thing only, to catch and eat one of Doña Conchita's plump chickens. Quick-witted Sister Fox is always one step ahead of him, waiting to trick him with…

I think several members of Puppet hub are Festival performers this year, I am looking forward to The Tanglewood Marionettes whose shows are always superb, and if I'm not mistaken Crabgrass Theater are also puppet hub members who do wonderful work. I do have to agree however that the poster design is not terribly inviting. I would prefer a poster with a collage of photos, to give people a better idea of whats going on.

Dear National Festival,

You're missing a major oppurtunity here. There are many people on puppet hub that have no idea what a national festival is all about. Many of the younger people on this network are not affiliated with P of A and in some cases have never heard of it. It would be a good idea to have someone post some updates about the festival. A website is one thing but what is needed here I think is some direct communication, and promotion.

Hello;
Unfortunately, we can't make to the festival this year but I did have a question. I was wondering do you take submissions for amature puppet videos? I know that during some of the past potpourri shows, I have seen some submissions and thought that though we can't be there this year, we maybe can be in some small way be represented by a video. Again this isn't for any recognition, but something puppet related to be shown at the after hours gatherings. Thanks for your time and hope to hear from you soon.

Hey there, Mark. I have forward your comment along to our Artistic Director. There are several opportunities for performance outside of the Main Stage Performances.
