Our marionette, Wild Flower, a Jingle Dress Dancer was donated to the Ziibiwing Museum, Mt Pleasant, MI. This is my project in the works. My cast for the head is in storage half way across the states so I am doing this one without it.

The head is coated in brown papier mache, the rest is wood. Thankya, he's very light which made him seem too hard to control at first, but turned out to be just a personality trait.

Hi:
I don't think I ever replied to your kind remarks about the porta-stage. Yes the stage is built around hoolahoops and was a royal pain to get cover to hang right.
I ended up getting someone to sew it for me.
I haven't been on the 'Hub for ages.
I had Bob Nathanson and Elise staying with me a few weeks ago on their way to Ronnie Burkett's new show in Ottawa.
Merry Christmas

Thanks for your interest! :-) I'm trying to get 1000 people to donate only $30- I talked with Bob Baker yesterday when I found out about his plight. He is a great guy and could not believe a Canuck like me, who doesn't know anything about him is trying to help. It is hard to ignore the fact that he is 84 years old and has given so much to the artform. To give call Bob's Theatre at
213-250-9995 it is in LA so if you don't have free long distance it'll cost you. :-)
Again, thanks for your interest- tell your friends :-)

the reason i didnt allow comments on athiest corner,is that i didnt want to sift through the inevitable shed load of insulted religious believers, harking on about the mention of the word atheism, and so on. the group was set up to discuss subjects that are by their very nature, going to be considered insulting by those whom hold religious beliefs. my hope was that some people whos faith is superficial ,or those for whom welcome a challenge to their intelectual discussions about their "faith",would request to join.
and in the process, maybe open their eyes to the world without the smothering cloak of religosity that can stifle reasoned thinking in all sorts of situations .

Thanks, Jonathan! We're keeping our fingers crossed, too, but if we forge ahead, it should happen. Or, "if you can dream it, you can do it!"

You had a blog in another forum asking whether the gospel message is clear in Bumbling Brothers. I thought it was nicely done and was glad to have my daughter next to me to hear it. (My perspective is from that of a believer for whom the gospel message is familiar.) Even if a non-believer didn't understand it fully, I think an important seed is planted. I'd like to encourage you in your efforts in kingdom building in this way. Good job.

Did any of the Dvd's work? I am curious to know? Is Peter on Puppet Hub or Puppet View?
