I might pay $999 for one of the Garfields Bruce Newton made and used in his live shows ,but $999 for a vintage toy? I don't think they'll get it

Near as I figure they failed last time - adding a crown with a strap does not make for a better item to collect.      Bruce Newton's real Garfield I would think could easy get the price.     Would think it would be easier to have someone recreate a better looking Garfield for $999.99 - or less?   Only toy I had was the plush Cuddly Duddly of the Ray Rayner show, later Bozo Circus.   It was never a puppet and can find a person who sells them and restores them.    But, not being a puppet - it's just another toy now that mine is long gone.    Inside wires pop out creating a potential danger - my mom threw it out.
