I finished the Dolly Parton head, I just need to do a little smoothing before the mold is made. Next two of the hardest things I have ever had to sculpt. I guess you know where I am headed next the body for her. I think I am sticking with cloth arms for her. But time will tell. Dan

Mnay years ago when I worked for Trotter Bros in Wichita KS. We made a Dolly Parton Puppet. Since she was designed to wear a form fitting gold lame jump suite we used legs panty hose eggs with a lead weight in the front. They hung just right and were on springs so they had just the right bounce. It was a very popular number in the show

Hey David do you remember the color of Dolly eye's I see so many picture with blue and green and yet her profile says brown. What do you think?

I think blue eyes show up better on stage, but since your puppets are such good likeneses, I think you should go with the profile. I forgot the Trotters had moved to Phoenix and opened a magic store. They put their fingers in so many pies. After David passed away, Bob got in some legal trouble and ended up in South America according to felow ex-employees.
