Why am I here?

I really don't know why I'm here...

I have been to university twice, once for software engineering, and once for fine art. I am currently happy working as a website designer, bringing up my two small children with my lovely partner.

But I can't get constructed people out of my head.

Looking back at my fine art degree, a lot of it was edging round making self portraits, and making figures, neither really completely. Since then I have come more obsessed with all things puppets. Last year, in an attempt to exorcise this, I went on a week's carving course at the Little Angel Theatre in Islington (UK) which was amazing, and the resulting self portrait marionette remains 95% complete (need to finish the hair!) and has been so for nearly a year.

I think I am frustrated with my lack of time for creative projects, but most of that is down to my bad time management and project planning skills.

I'm happy that I need to focus on being the main earner for a couple of years more, so I guess I just need to keep my hand in...
