I am restoring a marionette that was given to me by Margi Stevens [Margi Kelly] in 1961. I want to give her back to Margi's only surviving son, Laird Kelly. She was a ballerina and I made her into an ice skater for my variety act and she performed for 40 years. Now, she is going to be a ballerina once more. Right now, she is waiting to be repainted and restrung. She is in amazing shape considering her age. The Neverending Story at Imagination Stage

If you live in the Washington D.C. area, I highly recommend this production. I saw a performance today. It was flawless and beautifully staged. This production incorporates puppets made by Eric Van Wyk. The theater itself is a jewel. The Neverending Story will continue through August 10th. Imagination Stage is located in Bethesda, Maryland. I just want to say THANK YOU! for all your hard work with Peace through Puppets. So many wonderful stories about making the little ones happy with puppets. I only hope all the puppet makers and puppeteers on the HUB will help.
